Graduation Information

Hello, families of our JP2 graduates for 2026!

In February, our graduates sat through a Prom and Graduation presentation which provided an overview of timelines and details leading up to the end of the year. 

Now that it is May, and we are 2 months away from our Graduation celebrations, I would like to share a formal invitation with some reminders for our Graduates.

Graduation Time and Location: Thompson Arena at Western University on Thursday, June 25th at 5pm. Graduates will be expected to be present for 4pm. 

Details:

The entrance location and parking details will be shared later in May due to ongoing construction on the campus around the arena. Graduates will have unlimited guest entry to the arena. During the ceremony, there will be a photographer onstage to capture each graduate receiving their diploma. The photos will be shared online after graduation. Graduates are to arrive at the arena by 4pm wearing their graduation cap and gown.

The cost of the gown is included in the Graduation fee, and students will pick up the cap and gown on Jag Day! There will be no personalizing of the cap for the graduation procession. 

Grad Fees: Please ensure that the $100 Graduation fee is paid by the end of the May. The details of what the fee covers are in the attached Power Point. The JP2 Activity Fee of 40$ must also be paid to participate in the Jag Day and Graduation celebrations. Please contact the administration if there is a financial need. 

Valedictorian Candidates: Nomination Forms can be picked up in the main office and are due May 14th. Electronic voting will occur from May 25th to 28th.

Jag Day: A day dedicated to our graduates will be held on Friday, June 12th from 8-1pm in the cafeteria. Students are encouraged to dress up for the celebration. Parents are welcome to attend the mass at 8:30 and the presentation of special awards to follow. Director (and former Jag) Vince Romeo will be our esteemed guest speaker for Jag Day. A community lunch is provided for our graduates following a group photo opportunity after the speaker.
