New Student Information

Greetings to our Future Jaguars. 

As Principal, it is always a pleasure to be involved with our grade nines because it reminds me of the excitement of being in high school.  As the newest members of our community, we are relying on you to bring a sense of enthusiasm and freshness to our community. 

Please ignore any feelings that you may be having about being rookies or newcomers or the youngest in the school.  We are very glad to have you here and we are counting on you to make a visible and positive contribution as a class and as a group of individuals.

For some of you, this is a continuation of your Catholic Education. For others, this may be your introduction to a community of Faith.  During this time of particular challenge, I hope that you all will feel a sense of comfort as we celebrate and pray together.  At JPII Catholic School, we support and celebrate the great diversity that has been a part of our history for more than thirty years.

GRADE 9 STUDENT’S PRAYER 

Dear God, I ask for Your help as I begin this new school year after so many months of isolation. Fill me with Your peace and joy and allow me to experience Your presence in the many blessings You put before me.  

Open my eyes to the new challenges and exciting opportunities that this new school year brings.  

Open my heart and mind to new friends and new teachers at JP2.  

Give me a generous spirit to be enthusiastic with my studies and courage to accept new opportunities.  

Help me to be attentive to my teachers and let me experience Your presence in my new friends.  

Inspire me to do my best this year and to do everything for your greater glory! Amen
